I got my squeezebox and slimserver working and seeing my music folder. Everything was great for awhile. Then all of a sudden last week, the music started skipping while playing. I first thought there was a problem with my wireless so I switched to a wired connection. Third song after the switch, the skipping started up again. Then I tried switching cables from digital coax to an optical cable. After about four songs, the skipping started up again. I'm stumped and need some input. Slimserver is sitting on an XP Pro SP2 machine. The music folder is on an external 300 gb usb drive attached to the computer. All music files are wav files. Slimserver version is 6.5.5 - 12852.
The Squeezebox is pretty much useless with the skipping.
