I'm using JRiver Media Center to organize my music and I frequently use the Disk # field as part of ripping from CDs, but I do not group albums in MC by the disk #.
However, upon rescan in Slimserver, it is reading this field and grouping albums into disk groups. This is causing a couple of annoyances so far: 1. I have to go through three sets of steps to add a 3-disk album to a playlist or for playback. 2. The list of albums is much longer than it needs to be, making browsing in the web-based tool more cumbersome than it should be. Is there a way to configure how slimserver organizes the files so it does NOT group by disk? Seems pretty rudimentary to not have this grouping.
