I have noticed this behaviour also. Would like to see this solved, because I have some very desirable partyplaylists (M3U format) covering quite a few years (and would not like to have these entered manually track by track).
Strange thing is that SOMETIMES (maybe after complete reinstall??) the playlists seem to work for a while, but suddenly the tracks disappear from the list when used on the SB/Slimserver.
