OK, well I think that the SlimServer web interface should alert me if it finds something wrong with a file during scan. Now, I just see a message that it is scanning, when in fact the process has stopped/is stuck. This is not very user-friendly.
It should return with an error if it does not accept the file or can not access it. I had to use the command line interface to find out which file it was. This is quite a difficult process, with a high learning-curve, for someone who like me is not too familiar with Linux. I hope a message or even better to show the scanning process (listing the processed files) in the web-logpage would be possible to implement.. /sand -- sand Squeezebox 3 QNAP TS-109 Seagate ES 500GB SlimServer Version: 6.5.4 - 12568 - Debian - EN - utf8 Server IP address: 192.168.1.4 Perl Version: 5.8.8 arm-linux-gnu-thread-multi MySQL Version: 5.0.41 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sand's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9856 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40117 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
