A couple weeks ago I tried listening to music on my original slimp3. It sounded like a fast skip - the music cuts in and out a couple times per second.
I get the same behavior regardless of whether it is connected directly to my network hub or connected over the wireless bridge. Also tried running SlimServer 7.0, 6.5.4, and even an old 4.2.3 release I had laying around - all had the same behavior. Songs are in mp3 format and play fine on my Squeezebox. The slimp3 display is fine also, it's just a problem with music playback. Please help: I love my slimp3! Do I need to replace a part or is there anything else I can try?
