I don't usually build playlists but yes, I can see how this would help. And as mentioned, SC7 does have this functionality. > Building a playlist in SS/SC would be Much quicker if you could locate > the song in WinExplorer & drag it to the playlist without having to > build playlists in another application. This can't happen as long as SC7 is a web application because the browser won't know what to do with the files. And there are big advantages to a web application, it's visible with any machine on the LAN as well as over the Internet. Every device with a web browser can use it. The sort of functionality you describe would only be available with a native application, and one would have to be made for each OS. As a Linux user, I fear we'd be left out. Frankly, I'm glad Logitech is quite clear they don't want to go down the native application route and lock Linux users out. > SS/SC is not quick enough to build lists from the left screen. > The Fishbone skin is just fantastic!!! Try it out. I guess the reason I don't see what all the fuss is about is that I don't use SS/SC in a way that I really need drag n' drop. I'll play either a whole album or a random mix, I almost never use playlists. -- Mark Lanctot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40524 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
