'Similar question on the Reciva forums' (https://www.reciva.com/index.php?option=com_joomlaboard&Itemid=108&func=view&id=11434&catid=3#msg11434) recently (comparing the Reciva database with 'RadioRoku' (http://radioroku.com)).
I think that Reciva only make it available to the radios that embed their technology (although it is a set of XML files and can be worked out). I doubt that they would licence it to someone making competetive products - but Logitech could always ask. There is also 'vTuner' (http://www.vtuner.com) with a large number of stations - who do licence it to hardware vendors. I recently sent a note to Mike of 'MikesRadioWorld' (http://www.mikesradioworld.com/) to ask if he was interested in having an OPML version of his data ... which would then make it easy for Squeezeboxes to use - but no reply yet. -- Paul Webster Paul Webster http://www.lastfm.com/user/BondJamesBond ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Paul Webster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=105 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40957 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
