I am now running v7; it sees the NAS and seems to maintain the connection, and automatically sets the perl firewall permissions in Firefox (it would NOT in Safari).
I do think there are some issues about how the current rev of 7 handles my tags, which were no problem in 6.5.4; I am also not sure where the start icon should land. It's not on the dock, not on the desktop, but appears in perferences and that doesn't seem correct. I can start it but it doesn't seem correct.
