My amplifier only supports two optical audio inputs, so I have bought a toslink splitter to try to connect more digital inputs to the system.
As far as I understand, the splitter is just a simple system that outputs light on both inputs to the output. Which means that I can only have one of the inputs active at a time. It works great when using devices that I turn off when not using them. The squeezebox3 however do not disable the output when in standby. The slimserver web interface allows me to configure the sb3 to disable the outputs, but it does not seem to work. Should this option turn off the light on the output, or does it just disable the chip that controls the light? -- frankiboy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ frankiboy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14552 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=41290 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
