Was this ever improved on? I note the original posts are from 2003, but I still have this problem with more recent versions of slimserver driving synchronized SB2 and SB3.
I'm playing albums ripped to wav without gaps in the tracks. The playback is nice and continuous on a single player, but the gaps appear when syncing the two players. I assume its the same issue. I'm using cat5 cable to both SBs, so don't we have enough performance available now to reduce the sync to something negligible?
