Quite. So why remove it from the database?

Rather less flippantly. this sort of issue needs to be considered in the
wider context of how the database gets created, scanning, browse music
folder, etc.

I seem to remember kdf had a rationale why it is like it is and why the
tracks are deleted but I can't remember what it was and I can't find the
thread!
