FIXED...sort of....even though I couldnt find the offending tag or issue, the last line of the log generated using the GUI artwork debbuger showed it stopiing on Danity Kane. So I just removed that one album and the entire collection imported fine. No idea whats wrong, all the tags look good, replaced the artwork nothing helps so I'll just trash it and re-rip it, something must be corrput.
