With the usage of Perl and MySQL which are non-closed source either I
cannot see any OS dependency. This is the trick why it works on all
mainstream OS.

But I would see a market if there would be a mini appliance for the
server stuff. Cause I know a lot of people who want to hear music
without havin a PC running. So maybe it makes sense for Logitech to
partner with vendors of routers/WLAN APs - or to build a mini appliance
with a linux running that contains USB port for attaching a USB disk.
