As you surmised, the Squeezebox Controller (the remote formerly known as Jive) will list for $299US, and the Squeezebox Receiver (formerly known as Ray) will be $149.
The bundle of the two is called Squeezebox Duet and will list for $399US. For the time being, you'll need to have at least one Controller to set up a Receiver. That's a limit of the current software. And as Mike said, this isn't Squeezebox 4, but compliments the classic Squeezebox.
