It seems responsive "enough" for me, certainly faster than the n770. I don't think it is that large in the hands... it feels sort of like a heavier and a bit thick hershey's bar in the hand, which seems like an ideal size for me: the mass is nice, too: just enough to feel sturdy without bulkiness... it is certainly a ton smaller than most of my other remotes.
