Some good & bad news re CD solution on Windows. I converted my Plugin quite easily to SC7. However, mplayer will not play CDs on Windows but I found another app called cdda2wav which will extract CD track and create a WAV stream. As long as tracks play to conclusion there is no problem but if user terminates a playing track from Slimserver - a CDDA2WAV process left behind which is not acceptable.
