Well a SB is in no way a laptop... And I don't think that is at all what they mean by 'MP3 Player'... Yeesh, what a confusing "simple" chart though, that is one huge range in duties. Of course, as has come up before there is also the difference with VAT. The Logitech site prices include VAT. The US sites do not. (US Sales tax, the closest we have to VAT, varies by locality, with some states having a dozen different sales taxes based on local levies and some of us having none. At present, we only pay sales tax if the supplier has a 'brick and mortar' presence in the receivers state and if that state has a sales tax... etc etc very confusing, so no one lists sales tax on their pages). -- snarlydwarf ------------------------------------------------------------------------ snarlydwarf's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1179 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=41813 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
