I'm a lastfm listener and new here but this is what I have determined. I've been trying out SC7 before I buy a squeezebox.
SC7 installs by default with a AudioScrobbler plugin which only scrobbles tracks to lastfm, it does not allow listening to lastfm streams. To listen to streams, you have to download the community SqueezeScrobble plugin.
