That looks like an old style remote. I have one of those for my SB2 and I think they were used for the early SB3s too. The new style "candybar" remote came out around the same time as the Transporter. It must be pretty old "new" stock.
There are a couple of differences between the two remote styles - I think that the old style remote doesn't have a dedicated Search button or a Browse button (or is it Now Playing button?) and maybe not a Favourites button.
