Slim is open source, and the future version nightlies are released, well, "nightly"... to all those interested. Both Propellerhead and Adobe wouldn't dream of releasing their software before a lengthy (and private invitation) beta testing session. Like I said, neither way is better or worse than the other. It works well for their respective products. In fact, I couldn't imagine a closed source Slim where a new version of SlimServer/SqueezeCenter goes silent in between releases of several years. *shivers at the thought* -- EnochLight ------------------------------------------------------------------------ EnochLight's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3392 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=41813 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
