I haven't looked at the programming nor do I have the skill, but as-is, the plugin executes a script based on what you enter in the interface. If this script could be "passed" to an as-yet unbuilt SBC plugin, then all it would have to do would be to pass the commands to the IR port, following the delays you have selected. The plugin could be fairly minimal, it would be just an extra menu item that would execute the script when selected.
