Somehow I think claims like "physical media is dead" are a bit premature. And the new HD content is The problem there.
Think about the bandwidth required to stream 1080p content to thousands and millions of customers. Can you imagine it becoming available anytime soon? I don't think so. So, we are stuck with little plastic discs for quite some time as long as the HD content is considered.
