I also use Winamp and Shoutcast server (free to download) to stream any audio played on my PC. The Winamp DSP plugin allows you to feed the input of your PC audio card to the server. You can then stream the audio to the Squeezebox as if it was an internet radio, but on your internal network. I use this successfully to stream Launchcast (Yahoo) audio to my squeezebox and have also tested with other stations using browser players. Sound quality can be a bit mixed though! Details available here: http://www.shoutcast.com/download/ The site has comprehensive instruction on how to set it to work. Once you are streaming, tune in slimserver to the winamp server on your PC. I use WinXP but a similar system is available for Linux if that is what you are running.
