Perhaps this is way beyound what you're asking :-D

Just try different things and move the SB3. I have tried a bunch of
many different things realizing that the solutions I didn't originally
believe was workable could be the best....

I have had good experiences with granite plates (bought from the local
stone shop) under a CD player, never tried that under the SB, but it
doesn't cost much to try...

Another thing that I tried that really really works is setting spiked
speakers on top of a heavy granite plate (much heavier than the
speakers) and then put the granite plate on top of some kind of
rubber-like feet. This improved dynamics (in my setup) more than I
would ever have imagined.... and it sounds more natural... I'm NOT
kidding.....

Don't ask me what's happing, but this improves the setup a lot.....
