Our understanding is that the volume lag they encountered was a bug that we've independently identified and fixed since then. Likewise, the acceleration as they experienced may not have been the latest algorithm. However the hardware they received was final. It's hard to strike the right balance between getting the review units out ASAP vs being able to provide the most stable, final firmware release.
