Doesn't the US-centric spelling just make it sound more "exotic" elsewhere?
I notice that many places here in the states say "theatre" when they're trying to sound more upscale and/or Euro, so I always presumed that spelling it the US way in Europe would have the same connotation . . . . (An aside: I worked at one place that wanted to sound more international than they actually were; we had an administrator from South Africa, so she did everybody's outgoing voicemail message . . . .) -- miked ------------------------------------------------------------------------ miked's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4442 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44305 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
