Not for day-to-day work. SqueezeCenter and many 3rd party plugins know how to migrate preferences from the old single file to the new preference directory setup. Well, there is an API for accessing the old preferences, but it should only be used by SqueezeCenter and 3rd party code for the purpose of one-time[0] preference migration. -Peter [0] If you delete a plugin's SC7 prefs file, chances are that it will migrate the SS6 prefs again next time you start SC7. -- peterw http://www.tux.org/~peterw/ free plugins: http://www.tux.org/~peterw/#slim AllQuiet BlankSaver FuzzyTime PowerCenter/BottleRocket SaverSwitcher SleepFade StatusFirst SyncOptions VolumeLock ------------------------------------------------------------------------ peterw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2107 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44352 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
