You lack imagination. Without a volume control, how do I change the volume on my powered speakers? Without an SB3 volume control, how do I change the hidden T-Amp's volume in the bed room? By getting out of bed and turning the wheel? If Logitech would leave out the volume controls I would be very disappointed. I hate the semi-religious way some people talk about 'apple'.
