What's a 'pc' attack and how would cookies be involved?

Strange.

About the only 'nasty' thing I know cookies can be used for is to
collect information on your web browsing behaviour. Companies like
doubleclick could track your movement accross all sites that carry their
ads. http://www.doubleclick.com/privacy/faq.aspx

SC doesn't carry doubleclick or any other ads, so there's no risk. Other
sites cannot access the SC cookies (bar any browser bugs) and if they
could they probably wouldn't value your album art settings much.
