That actually brings up an interesting point. When Slim Devices was Slim Devices, that may have been the case as a smallish company trying to break out and efficiently focus. However as a part of Logitech now, is that still true? Which begs the question and the point for this post: Didn't Slim Devices BENEFIT from melding with Logitech? Didn't it get a bigger budget, bigger R&D, more engineers? I don't know the answers but I certainly hope so as a consumer. And from Logitech's point of view, I also hope so. I mean, I hope that Logitech doesn't just look at Slim Devices the way England looked at the original American colonies pre-Revolutionary war, just to be milked. I assume that Logitech saw the vision for a stronger Slim Devices by helping it expand beyond its relatively humble beginnings. Isn't that so? As an analogy, if you are familiar with the pro audio world, a smallish company known as M-Audio (originally known as MidiMan) grew quickly, caught the eye of Digidesign, which bought it. Now M-Audio is bigger and better than ever, releasing ever more products every year. (And Digidesign had previously been purchased by Avid, that accelerated its own growth). -- mortslim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mortslim's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11039 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44669 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
