The example I had in mind (recently acquired) is "Must I Paint You a Picture?", which is a Billy Bragg best of album. I've tagged it with Billy Bragg as the Album artist and, while most tracks have Billy Bragg as the artist, there are others such as "Billy Bragg and The Blokes". I have tagged this as a compilation album more because it has these additional track artists than because I'm in the habit of tagging best ofs as compilation (that's a whole other debate...)
