You could try to put it in prefs folder, wipe the new settings and start all over again. The file should be imported automatically. > b) one of the settings that got trashed was "Don't Use iTunes." So I I'm sorry you had an unlucky start. But that setting is presented to you twice before the initial scan starts (when you select the music source and on the summary page of the wizard). You should have seen it's been changed before the lengthy scan.
