The Squeezebox Controller has 2 copies of the firmware -- current and
previous. It was designed like that for situations like yours! Given
your symptoms, it's possible that your current image somehow is not
right.

Try switching to your previous copy of firmware by holding down the
"volume up" key while turning on (press the key with the picture of the
house) the Controller. If it successfully starts up, you'll need to wipe
out the bad "current" image by performing a software update
(Settings->Advanced->Software Update). Once that finishes, turn off the
Controller and then turn it back on. You should then be OK.

If this doesn't work, you need to contact support.
