The problem with this as a strategy, of course, is that you are relying on someone else with the same peculiarity of set up as you have (there must be something out of the ordinary, as lots of us have had 7.0 running successfully) to report and identify the problem so that someone can fix it. Now if you are happy with 6.5.4 then that's great, you can enjoy the music, but its best not to assume that you will be able to try a future 7.x without making at least some attempt to identify the problem.
