Had the same problem but found a simple workaround using my AirPort Express. Configure the AP Express to *extend* the existing TC wireless network (using the AirPort Utility app to create a WDS -- just follow the config wizard instructions for extending your existing network). Then physically locate the AP Express close to the SB3 and re-connect to the wireless network. From the SB3 everything will appear as it was before the changes, but you should now be able to connect. Worked fine for me the first time.
