SlimServer 6.5.4 under XP I'm running 2 Squeezboxes, synched but with independent volumes.
I have both set to deliver an identical Alarm in the mornings, the data stream being a BBC Radio playlist. All well and good. However, the ALARM VOLUME settings in the ALARM window seem to make no difference. Wherever they are set, the actual volume I get is the player volume that was last selected (via the interface or remote) when I turned the Squeezeboxes off the previous evening. So, if I was last listening loud, then loud is what I get when the alarm activates, even if the ALARM VOLUME setting is way, way low.
