Hi, Classic FM has closed its all day Jazz station on DAB in the UK. They now urge us all to listen online as a solution.
I would love to be able to stream this on my Squeezebox3 V7 Windows XP. Below is their reply to my Email. (The documentation from the squeezebox website states that it is compatible with asx files (what we use as a pointer to the stream) so it should be able to work. There could be a few causes: Maybe the url being used is incorrect. (Should be http://mediaweb.musicradio.com/playlist.asx?streamid=2) The network config on your side may be incorrect - a google search comes up with a few people who have had problems setting up the wireless authentication etc on their home network. There are a few different versions of the squeezebox, you may be using an earlier model that isnt compatible with the stream. If you can stream classic fm on their computer but not the squeezebox, then you should probably contact the squeezebox support) I cannot get this Url to work. Are there any Great minds out there, or even Jazz lovers who can help?
