Hi, I am struggling to get the following URL
http://mediasrv.musicradio.com/ClassicFM to play on my SB3, by putting that URL into the "Radio Tune In" box. It works fine from a windows XP laptop on the same subnet using windows media player. My slimserver is running on a linux machine. I have mplayer and alienBBC and working correctly. Port 80 tcp outbound is banned from my subnet (provided by work) by I have an http_proxy available (configured within slimserver) Although I enter the URL as above into Radio Tune In, I then get the following showing in the playlist: mms://mediasrv.musicradio.com/ClassicFM?MSWMExt=.asf If I enter the following in linux on the box: /usr/local/bin/mplayer -v -v -v -v -v -v -v -v -v -vc null -vo null -cache 128 -af volume=0,resample=44100:0:1,channels=2 mms://mediasrv.musicradio.com/ClassicFM?MSWMExt=.asf I get this bit of output which I think is the problem: Filename for url is now mms://mediasrv.musicradio.com/ClassicFM?MSWMExt=.asf STREAM_ASF, URL: mms://mediasrv.musicradio.com/ClassicFM?MSWMExt=.asf Trying ASF/UDP... ===> ASF/UDP failed Trying ASF/TCP... (network config the same) any help very much appreciated..... thanks Matt -- MattC ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MattC's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4127 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=45550 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
