There is a separate album art cache on the controller. The only way I know how to refresh it is to do a complete factory reset of the controller. Turn off the SBC, then turn it back on while holding down the "+" button. Then you go through setup again (including re-entering WPA key if you have one....). I recently had to do this when my SBC got some album art mis-matched, and andyg of SD/Logi said they might need to add something to SqueezeCenter to tell the SBC to refresh its cache, but that will likely be a few versions down the road at best (see http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=45861).
