I have two modified xboxes that I used to run xbmc on.  I've abandoned them
though because they don't have enough horsepower to decode x.264 video.

For myself, I see very little value in using them as squeezebox clients, but
if you were so-inclined you can use the current SqueezeCenter and connect to
http://server:9000/stream.mp3 from the xbox and treat it as a music stream.
You can then control the stream from the web browser or the Duet controller
(I think).
