There's nothing wrong with the idea, all it takes is someone with the will
and skills to make it happen.

In some ways I do miss XBMC but now my PS3 does most of what XBMC did almost
as good, and it does HD.  I convert my DVD images to X.264 + 6channel AAC
and they look great (no more fumbling with discs).  The ISO support in XBMC
was neat but sometimes flaky, particularly when playing them over my
network.  If I want to watch special features or listen to alternate audio
tracks I do have to pop in the DVD itself....
