I don't have a computer in my bedroom or my livingroom... and my ass is

It seems you are looking at the SB* as being a Long Audio Cable. It is
a lot more than that. If you have to use the web interface more than
once or twice a month, you're doing something wrong (or you have OCD
and at least have a mostly harmless hobby).
SB*'s are supposed to free you from the tedium of find-a-cd and
refile-a-cd tedium of regular CD players as well as from the
uncomfortable listening environment that is the typical PC workstation
setup. ("Back straight, fingers at the right height, elbows bent!"
sounds more like exercise than listening to music.)
