Actually, I misunderstood your post to mean "signal strength", which is not SNR. My mistake. Within 1.5m of the router in my office (where there are something like 9 wireless networks active), the SNR moves between 48 and 52 while I have the Controller in my hand. In the dock, the SNR is a pretty steady 61.
