are we misunderstanding each other? thats not what i'm complaining about i don't think. i am complaining that TPE2 tags are ignored for sorting. the entries do exist as BAND in SC7 and typically my tags will have TPE2 tags that match TPE1 tags on another album, (so i have one album with Eric Clapton as TPE2 that has some differing TPE1 artists, but i also have a second album that has Eric Clapton as TPE1 artist on every track). maybe i don't get how ARTISTSORT is populated? but if TPE2 also filled the ALBUMARTIST tags, it would sort properly.
