Yes, you can just delete it. You'll probably have to stop SqueezeCenter first. I would think a 28GB log is pretty unlikely unless you've raised the logging levels on at least one of the logging settings. Before shutting down SC7 you'll probably want to reset them. The default level for all of them is 'Error'.
