I have an SB3 and also use Softsqueeze. Strangely, the softsqueeze installation started doing this exact behavior midweek. It plays MP3s, and radio streams, but for any flac file I get the analog VU meters pegged and white noise. The track seems to be trying to play but keeps resetting (ie it plays the first three or four seconds over and over, but all I hear is white noise or silence). I've tried re-installing etc. but no joy.
The SB3 still plays perfectly however. Before that both had worked perfectly for some time.
