I have faced the same update as others have already descibed, the controller keeps rebooting at 7.0.1 r2269. Haven't tried upgrade with SD card though.
Before the r2269 my SBC had successfully upgraded at least a dozen times without any problem whatsoever. I'm 100 % sure my wlan was up and I can say this because I can trace my own traffic (and even if the connection failed, the sbc MUST NOT crash). Can the build team confirm that the upgrade procedure of this version (r2269) was succcessfully tested? Whether yes or not, I strongly suggest that no build is ever put online without a MORE complete test of recovery from the (next) upgrade! Note that there is a very mixed and growing set of revisions out there, and one should test upgrade from all of those that implement a different upgrade procedure (including recovery, if there is such?). I'm yet to figure out how to save my SBC, it cannot upgrade and it fails to connect to my own squeezecenter or the squeezenetwork any more (it still has wlan connection though). Now the Software Update menu shows a true statement indeed: "Updated software is available for this remote. It may take a few minutes to update to version ?." But it does not have a glue what the next revision would be, just like me ... -- penguin ------------------------------------------------------------------------ penguin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17003 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=46509 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
