You can easily switch wireless networks... the only thing is your setup
is not ideal.

If you put an wireless access point on each floor, use the same SSID on
each, and only vary the channel (1,6,11)you won't have to switch
networks. This is assuming you have them all connected to your router
via a wired connection.
