Daren, I was having the same problem after I reinstalled trying to fix another issue. I found that you have to uninstall squeezecenter (using add/remove) then manually delete the C:\Program Files\Squeezecenter folder AND the C:\Programdata\squeezecenter folder. If you don't delete teh C:\Programdata\squeezecenter folder this is the problem that you get.
