I think you've hit the nail on the head.  As another user put it, "I'm
a geek, but of the "I don't have the time to deal with that shit"
(pardon my French) variety". 

Nothing, and I mean nothing, is more infuriating that settling down to
listen to something you've been looking forward to only to find you
have to "deal with that shit".
